Welcome to our second episode of the Celtx Pre-Production Podcast! In this episode, we get to know our podcast host, Neal Moore. The main topic this week is about managing client expectations. Whether you’re producing freelance or working within an agency setting, pre-production planning is key to ensuring a smooth shoot that stays on target and budget.
Neal is the producer and host of Filmmaker Fridays but, before that, he was the co-founder & CEO of a content marketing agency producing video for some of the biggest brands in the world including AIA, Ben & Jerry’s, Canon, Cisco, Citibank, Google, HSBC, Panasonic, Singtel & Visa. Here he shares how the pre-production process is the perfect opportunity to manage client expectations, decrease scope-creep and increase profitability. Neal has over 15 years experience in TV publishing and film across the UK, USA and Asia and launched Moore’s Lore Media in 2015 to develop and produce outstanding original content including short films, feature films, web series and podcasts. So far he has exec-produced multi-award winning short film NEON, written and produced short film Virtually Innocent, developed six-part comedy web series Headspace, and is currently in development on his first feature Berlin Bromley, about the infamous Bromley Contingent of punk fans, to be written by ‘Kill Your Friends‘ author John Niven.
