New Release - Motion Sketches Ep 8. The Director's Playground

G'day, mates.

Big news today of the release of the 8th installment in our Motion Sketches video series. 

The Director's Playground: Part 1 - Sharing The Vision examines what it is to be the Director. Much more than just being the boss, the Director's art and effectiveness lies in his/her ability to bring people together and ensure everyone is singing from the same song sheet. It features interviews with multi award-winning director Samantha Lang and Russian action filmmaker Vadim Shmelev.

Last Call: Free Net World Film Fest

Filmmakers from around the world are invited to submit films to the Free Net World Film Fest, held in the trenches of the historical Fortress of Nis, Serbia from 03 to 05 September as part of the E-FORTRESS Internet Festival. The aim of the film festival is to present important and innovative films of high artistic value from the whole world.  Submission details can be found on the festival website and the deadline for submissions is 05 August - so you better get cracking!
 
If you happen to be attending the Festival, why not plan to to take in the Celtx workshop that the organizers are putting together.  The number of participants is limited, and workshops fill up fast, so register early!  For more information contact the organizers.
