This week the Celtx Team is delighted to bestow the POW badge upon Mohammed Ali Rukadikar of Mumbai, India for his already award-winning short film, 'Just A Moment'.
Conceptualized, written and directed by Mohammed Ali himself, this touching story based in India, tells the tale of contrasting lives lived, and how two young men of the same age but drastically different backgrounds "miraculously come face to face, for 'just a moment', changing thier lives forever."
Just A Moment's (see video) cinematography by 'James' offers up some beautiful scenery and gives you a good sense of the land, reflecting both Sunny's urban lifestyle, and Kashmiri, Abdul Hamid's more distressed rural surroundings. And the music choices by Ameya Naik enhance the film's overall flow.
What also makes this film interesting is that it was made in just 24 hours!!!... for the Bombay 2006 24x7makingmovies™ initiative, garnering the event's Jury Award, and later, the Audience Award at DearCinema Film Fest. And now, with the Celtx POW, .... well that awards shelf must be getting pretty full :).
Congratulations, and Thanks to you and your 'So-Called Productions' crew for a lovely film, Mohammed Ali Rukadikar.
All the best,
Sheila
