The open source songbird music player is now available for the public's listening and viewing pleasure. Like Celtx, songbird uses some of the same underlying XUL and XML technologies born from the Firefox web browser. Looks like the developers' site - Pioneers of the Inevitable, is getting slammed at the moment, but once things have settled down I'll provide a link so you can go check it out. In the meantime, here's a related article by John Borland of CNET News.
It will be interesting to see if songbird catches on like Firefox did.

Yep... Looks like all the excitement about songbird's release has brought it's server " to it's knees".
