I say a big ol' THANK YOU to the Celtx developers. The program looks awesome, feels awesome and works amazingly well. It looks simple but definitely is not. It handles anything I can throw at it, and I'm doing some pretty weird formatting things.
The learning curve is nil. I'm SOOOOOO glad I made the switch.
The collab feature is great, it's rock solid, and the newest version just adds more and more great features that the users are requesting. Bravo. Open source at it's absolute best.
Just downloaded celtx and had a quick browse around. It's by far the best looking scriptwriting app for the mac! Very ambitious approach. Congratulations....you have done a fantastic job!
This is a fantastic piece of software, I must say. Congrats.
This is a sorely needed application! Thanks to everyone who has spent some sweat working on it! Bang on!
Well, this was a pleasant surprise. First, there IS an Open Source program than can help replace my aging dinosaur of Final Draft, even on all three platforms I use daily (OS X, Linux, Windows). Second, it's based on my favorite browser, FireFox. .... Congratulations, you've got the beginnings of a great product there!
I'll be using Celtx to assist in producing a reality-makeover television pilot. It looks like just the (set of) tools I need.
Again thanks a lot, and let me express a congratulation salute because your program is amazing and extremely useful.
I really like how easy it is to type and work out a script in your software. It's very well thought out on that level... Thank you for creating a very nice scripting app. I really do appreciate it.
I wanted to first applaud your approach and ambitions for Celtx. Secondly, it is a fantastic coup that you have a cross-platform app that works in standalone and client/server modes.
I see really great potential for this software in the short film arena, and longer formats if it gets more robust. The ability to quickly distribute revisions and breakdowns over the Internet is something you can't beat with a stick
Wow! Celtx is NICE!!! Good stuff, my brother and I have been using it to collaborate over the internet easily. Great stuff, thanks for the info!
First of I would like to tell you guys what a great project you have. It has been a real life saver and I can’t wait for the next releases.
Amazing....really Amazing....
