Our decision has been based on many factors. One of which is it's cost, free. Celtx is an Open Source, Cross-Platform screenwriter / production planning software program. The program is still being developed but, in our opinion, is far enough along to utilize properly.Celtx will allow us to cut costs across the board by allowing our actors, writers, department heads and more to securely share information without the need for traditional meetings as often.
Writers will be able to submit scripts by simply letting us know that the material is available on PC Central (Celtx online script library), department heads will be able to download and print prop lists, locations, cast lists, notes and more.
